All We Have To Fear Is Fear Itself!

I do not remember who said it, but the truth is that all we have to fear is fear itself. There are many different fears that come into our minds as life goes on. Some are real and some are just perceptions. Whatever the fear, it make us feel bad, it takes our power from us. I believe fear is the underlying emotion behind all negative emotional states. Fear causes anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, envy, aggression etc. and this is not healthy for us.
So many of us spend large amounts of our time looking out at life from behind a tree like this Rosella. We allow our fears to paralyze us, to stop us from having the life and love that we really want and deserve.
Fear depresses our immune system and so we become sick. Our bodies can not function properly when we are hanging onto fear. If the fear is strong enough, we usually draw to us the experience that we fear the most. That's how it works.

We can also become like this prickly pear, we grow thorns to protect ourselves, we fear being hurt. We keep people at a distance and isolate ourselves.  We only rarely show the beautiful flower that is who we really are.
So what can we do to release ourselves from the constraints of fear?
Some people say that you have to face the fear. To an extent that is true, but not always practical. For example; how to you release your fear of flying when you are not able right now, to go up in a plane?
I have learned techniques that I use to release my fears and teach them regularly to my clients. This is a very empowering thing to do. It puts you in control of your fears rather than the fears controlling you. Patience with yourself and persistence are required to release yourself from fear. But oh, the effort is worth it. The more I let go of fear, the more my life gets better and better.
You can experience this too, just muster up the courage to ask for help. Be prepared to learn these techniques and then use them.
