Sunday Musings - I hate Road Blocks!

Don't you just hate it when you have a good idea and someone comes along and tells you that it won't work or that you can't do it?

They don't even give you the opportunity to explore the idea and give it a go, they just throw up as many "road blocks" as they can think of  and wave a Stop sign at you.

Now if your idea is one that will put you or someone else in some sort of danger, then fair enough. A "stop sign" could save you a lot of heartache.

However, when the "road blocks and stop signs" are coming from someone who is resentful of your growth and success. Or is someone who is so inflexible with their thinking that they can not get past their own fears and prejudices, go ahead anyway.

Have a go. Try out your idea and see where it leads you. You may not get the result that you want, but at least you tried. On the other hand, you may win.If you don't have a go you will never know. Life after all, is all about learning and experiencing.

So when the naysayers tell you that you "can't do that" or "it won't work", if it feels right, then just do it.

You may not be able to crash straight through the "road blocks" you may have to wriggle around them, adjusting your idea as you go;but keep what you want to achieve in mind, keep moving forward and success will be yours.
