Glass Half Full or Half Empty? It's Your Choice!

Humans have a real talent for looking at life in a negative way. Not everyone, that's true. But many of us focus on what is going wrong with our lives and the world that we live in.

Life can seem to have a greyness about it, like this image of these flowers.
The greyness is encouraged by what we read in the papers, hear on the radio and see on the TV. The Media seem to delight in giving us more and more stories of wars, crime, disasters etc.; they very rarely give us news of the good things that are happening.
All this can, if you let it, make you feel that this world is not a nice place to be.
You see, we all have a choice as to how we view our lives and the world that we live in. We can choose to continue to view the world as grey. We can continue to complain about our lives being like an half empty glass. Or we can choose to look at life differently.

We can choose to see the colour in our lives; it is there, you only have to look.

Notice how looking at this colour version of the  previous picture makes you feel. Notice how it evokes  a completely different feeling from the grey version. The feeling I get from looking at the colour version is lighter, happier and feels more like fun. Much nicer.
We all have a choice as to how we view our lives. You can choose to live in a grey world if you wish to. Or you can choose to look for the colour in your life. My suggestion is to focus on the good things that are in your life, believing that your glass is half full not half empty. And one more tip: ignore the naysayers and the doom and gloom put out by the Media.
If we all choose to have a colourful life, the world will be a much better place in which to live.
It's up to you.

I am helping people to put the colour back into their lives.
